FEWER TEARS IN THE SPRING…
One day during spring was strolling in the grocery store and happened upon a product with a promise. It said within a day or so crying would be reduced, even absent. That merchandise was infant formula. How one asks, or, gurgles, would that attract my aisled attention?
Well, Necessity is the Mother (hood…) of invention. I’d been mulling my upcoming tax appointment and must’ve been looking for some sort of relief before the great W-4 Day. So, on a lark partook of the newbie lunch and settled down to sleep on the 14th. Upon awaking replayed night visions of being excited when a face appeared over the slats, got a kick over images twirling above, and any request on my part brought instant attention like 1st Class on my favorite carrier…mine, not mama’s, but as in American A et al. How this occurred post-bib time imbibing I’ve no idea. All I know is that unlike in filings years past I somehow had no urge to weep, whether out of elation of a surprising return, or a failed one with the debt net webbed. Just had to speak to my tax advisor at my appointment later today in hopes of unpacking paradise…
As many tax hosts, mine had a full-time non-financial vocation in the off-season; she was also a Physician’s Assistant. I told her what I experimented with and the pleasing results. She told me they’d recently named a new diagnosis-Tax Associated Colic (TAC). So, she said, no wonder the product did its job in allaying my anticipated outcome, whether paying or receiving. And she said there was also a heightened companion diagnosis too, Tax with anticipated Interest Colic (TIC), for those with insufficient funds “at the ready”. In succeeding years, she had a knack of “knowing” which category I fell into and gave me appointment priority for any Interest Anxiety. She also kindly reduced my reliance on the slurry. She’d visit days before and of her own free will rocked, coddled and cooed to me with pleasant terms like dee duct shun, and wriiiite off! Great tax relief on her part. Together we plan to pair up and incorporate this newfound therapy and name it similarly as the collector, B.L.I.S. (BLessed Intestinal Service) for both financial and physical reasons… See you on the 15th…Our donation due date is then…
